More Teens Taking Life

More young people in Wales are taking their own lives.

The shocking stats reckon 90 commit suicide every year, and most of them are men under the age of 34.

Now a new initiatives being launched to help reduce the new number and offer more help to those who feel there's now way out. Charity Papyrus has set up Hopeline UK, to get more people to talk about their feelings.

It comes as the report reveals that stats are just the tip of the iceberg with the figure rising when you count the number of young people admitted to hospital because of self harming.

New Leads For Maddie?

Swiss police have passed the details of a suspected child abductor to officers investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann.

The sixty-seven-year-old committed suicide last Wednesday - there's DNA evidence linking him to a five-year-old who vanished the day before.

He's reported to have been on holiday in the Algarve when the British four-year-old disappeared in May.

Charges Over Murder

A 20 year old man's been up in court, charged with the murder of a 25 year old man in Newport at the weekend.

The body of Wesley Strawbridge was found on Shaftsbury Street on Sunday morning.
Another 20 year old man's been released after questioning, while a 17 year old's been bailed.

Meanwhile three men have been arrested after crashing a car onto the downs in Bristol yesterday.

One's been charged with drink-driving, taking the vehicle without permission and getting behind the wheel while he was disqualified.

Another's charged with assault and resisting to be arrested and the third's charged with driving without a licence or insurance and failing to stop.

Star Could get Re-Call

England coach Steve McClaren may hand Sol Campbell a shock recall to the international scene.

McClaren's planning for the friendly with Germany in two weeks' time has been hampered due to injuries to centre-backs John Terry, Ledley King and Jonathan Woodgate.

McClaren says he'd be foolish not to consider bringing back the 32-year-old for his first international football in 14 months.
