South Wales Man Jailed Over Internet Con

Scam Boy Locked Up eBay

A South Wales lad who conned thousands of pounds from eBay customers has been jailed.

It's after he was caught out again for flogging goods that didn't exist.

20-year-old Philip Shortman, from Cwmbran, was locked up by a judge after he was caught committing fresh offences on the auction website eBay.

In the latest round of scams he made profits of more than 14 thousand pounds selling things like rugby tickets and electrical goods that didn't actually exist.

The dad-of-two had previously tricked buyers out of 45 thousand - and spent some of the cash on limousine rides.
