Pledge 'No To Knives' today

'No To Knives' is a new campaign which aims to encourage Britain's young people to resist the temptation to carry knives on the streets, and to see this as a positive lifestyle choice.
Many people believe that taking a knife when they go out will help them defend themselves if they are attacked. In fact, many of the victims of knife attacks have their own weapons turned against them.
NTK is trying to get 1,000,000 people to pledge not to carry an knife via the NTK website.
They are also offering 'weapons awareness' courses which help educate people about the dangers of carrying knives; and to provide a forum for constructive debate around knife crime.
In order to make your pledge, the NTK website (www.ntk.org.uk) gives you a digital paintbox that you can use to create your own personal tag. This tag will fill one space on the NTK pledgewall, which is posted live on the site for all to see.
