Papers say sorry to Maddie's parents

Two newspapers are saying sorry for printing lies about the parents of Madeleine McCann.

The Daily Express and Daily Star have published ront-page apologies today - their Sunday equivalents will also do the same.

They admit there was no truth in suggestions they made that Kate and Gerry McCann caused the disappearance of their little girl.

The newspapers also had to pay a big sum of money as compensation.

The McCann's say that the cash will go to the Find Madeleine fund.

Kate's always said they're innocent.
