A chaff module fell to the ground - a chaff is basically a piece of equipment which contains loads of aluminium shavings - the idea is that they explode and block incoming radar-guided missiles.

It's a bit dangerous to go near - so airbase officials say if you find it - stay away from it and don't use your mobile near it.
