Get ready for the gales!

Britain is being battered by the worst storms this winter...winds of more than 80 miles an hour have brought down trees and damaged houses.

Thousands of people in the West Country and South Wales are without electricity after power lines were brought down.

The south coast's been worst hit so far and people are being warned not to go and watch the waves.

The East of England has several flood warnings in place.
