Simon Cowell's a nice guy after all...no really he is!

He's quashed his Mr Nasty image with his latest act of charity.

The X Factor judge has appeared on Oprah Winfrey's show in the US, where he paid off the £81,000 mortgage of a couple whose daughter has cancer.

He does loads of work for kids charities over here too.

Ahhh - he's just a big teddy bear under that hard exterior isn't he?!
