Maddie's parents 'furious' at leak

Madeleine McCann's mum and dad are said to be really angry after details of conversations they had with Portuguese police were leaked.

The conversations suggest that their missing four year old Maddia asked her mum why she didn't come when she was crying the night before she disappeared in May last year.

The couple reckon it's been leaked on purpose to make them look bad.

The Palme d'Or winning movie maker is a regular at the annual event and even chaired the jury back in 2004.

But Quentin has some pretty impressive shoes to fill, last year's masterclass was given by Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese.

Every Metropolitan officer will be electronically chipped as part of new rules.

The idea is that senior officials would be able to monitor their movements on a tracking system.

It means supervisers will be able to quickly identify where their staff are at any time they are on duty.
