Timelord Izz job for Eddie

Eddie Izzard fancies himself as a bit of a Timelord.

According to reports the comic actor would jump at the chance to take over the Tardis when David Tennant eventually leaves the show.

Eddie is currently doing well in America but says he's drop everything for the role.

Sticking up for Scientology star

Madonna has been sticking up for her mate Tom Cruise.

She's apparently been saying that she thinks it's unfair that he gets picked on for his controversial beliefs about Scientology.

Madonna is quoted as saying "I don't care if people worship turtles or frogs as long as they are a good person".

Wheelie unfair

A man's been fined and labelled a criminal for overfilling his wheelie bin by just 10cm.

Gareth Corkhill was taken to court, and ordered to pay more than £200.

It's because the lid wasn't properly closed.

It's Earth Day today.

All around the world, events are being held to try and raise awareness and appreciation of our planet.

A billion people are taking part.

In the East of England - the town of Aylsham in Norfolk for instance have announced that they are gonna become entirely plastic bag free from now on - if you shop anywhere in the town you'll have to take your own bag, because all the shops there have agreed to stop using them.

In London, some shops are banning plastic bags for the day, and there's a big operation to clean up the banks of the River Thames.

Gordon Ramsay's could be in trouble...

A restaurant manager in America wants to sue the makers of his TV show Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares.

The reason - the man says they were faked.

He reckons the Tv show's producers told him to act the way he did and then edited the footage to make him look lazy in the final programme.

He wants to sue for £9million.

Bomb squad move in

A big unexploded World War 2 bomb which was found on the Suffolk coast yesterday will be blown up today.

The Royal Navy are in Felixtowe to safely destroy the 250lb American shell.

Bomb disposal experts will take the device further out to sea before detonating it.

It's thought the bomb was accidentally dropped by an American bomber during the Second World War when it was on it's way home from Germany.

Money games

The cost of hosting the 2012 Olympic games has gone up a bit.

Organisers say they'll now need double what they originally asked for.

It was meant to be all done and dusted for £4.3 billion - now they say they'll need more like £9 billion.

MP's aren't happy, and aren't convinced that even that amount will be enough.
