Charged under the Terror Act

Bristol 'terror suspect' in court

A teenage terror suspect from Bristol, who's been charged with 3 counts under the Terror Act, is due in court today.

19 year old Andrew Ibrahim will appear at the City of Westminster Magistrates.

He's accused of being in possession of explosive substances, engaging in conduct with the intention to commit acts of terrorism and being in possession of certain items for terrorist purposes.

Police are confident he was working alone and revealed they found articles including 2 home made vests, ball bearings, air gun pellets and nails and screws, amongst other things at his house in Westbury on Trym.

We're now all being asked to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to the anti-terrorist hotline... 0800 789 321.
