Police confiscate drink

37,000 pints of beer and cider have been seized from children across the UK during a two-week crackdown.

Wine, spirits and alcopops were found during the half-term break.

The £750,000 campaign was carried out by 39 police forces across England and Wales.

They worked on tip-offs - some young people came forward to hand-in their drinks.
