Indy breaks box office

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has chalked up the biggest opening weekend this year at the box office.

The latest outing from Harrison Ford took an impressive hundreds of millions of dollars worldwide in its first few days.

It's been 19years since the last Indy film and so far critics have given the Steven Spielberg movie mixed reviews.

Puffy movie in pipeline

Rapper, producer and Hip Hop mogul P Diddy is ready to add film-maker to his CV.

He's reportedly been so inspired by a trip to this year's Cannes Film Festival, the singer's started writing his own big-screen project.

Although he's only just thought of the idea, Diddy's already come up with a list of stars he wants including Angelina Jolie, Sienna Miller and Eddie Murphy.

High Street store will stock no more

Woolworths has announced it will stop selling CD singles because nobody's buying them anymore.

The UK's biggest singles' retailer says pressure from internet downloads means the format is now in terminal decline.

However it will continue to stock one-off releases - such as the X-factor winner - as these have proved sure-fire sellers.

Bea ready incase Amy isn't...

It looks like Beyonce might be singing the theme tune for the new James Bond film instead of Amy Winehouse.

Amy was approached and asked if she would record the theme for the Quantum of Solace, but her producer Mark Ronson said she wasn't ready to work after a recent return to her party lifestyle.

Amy says her song is ready to go though and she's just waiting for the greenlight from film bosses.

Fuel protestors head for Downing Street

There's loads of lorries in London today.

Trucks from across the UK have been heading to the capital to demonstrate at rising fuel prices.

They want the Government to reduce the tax on it to make it cheaper.

A demonstration's also being held on the M4 motorway in Wales.

Haulage firms say the rocketing price of petrol and diesel is pushing them out of business.

It's gone past the £1.30 a litre mark in some places.
