Short boy wizard book

JK Rowling has written a prequel to Harry Potter.

Apparently the story, which is shrouded in secrecy, was penned in the past month and is just 800 words long.

It comes almost a year after the last book in the boy-wizard series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, hit the shelves.

The latest tale will be sold at a charity auction next month.

Frankmusik - In Step

"Bladerunner pop" is how 22 year old Vincent Frank (aka Frankmusik) describes his blend of synth led eletro pop, and who could argue with that. Fresh faced and fruity summer vibes make this one a real upper for any dancefloor, and we're predicting some summer success for this record.

We're also a fan of the simple but really cool video!

Seeing red won't hurt as much

When we all seem to be feeling the pinch at the moment, there is one bit of good news today.

One of the country's big banks is slashing it's overdraft charges...£35 to just £8.

Barclays are lowering their fees from August.

We're expecting more high street banks to do the same.

Passengers had to scramble to safety.

All trains in and out of the station had to be stopped last night, services should be back to normal later today.

Shocking new knife campaign

One of the most graphic campaigns ever is using real-life images of stab wounds to try and stop teenagers carrying knives.

The Government hope they can get the message across that it's not cool to carry a knife by showing the ads on social networking sites like Bebo and on video's on your mobile phone.

Eighteen young people from across England and Wales have helped put together the campaign.

It focuses on the emotional pain caused by stabbings.

Officials say they hope teenagers will realise carrying a blade means you're more likely to be stabbed.

Big wigs... looking for raw talent

If you fancy getting into the music industry then this is definitely for you!

The O2 Undiscovered tour is hitting Bristol on Saturday, where you'll get to chat face to face with the guys who turn raw talent into superstars.

Nick Godwyn, who discovered Amy Winehouse, will be there along with the likes of Danny McNamara, Johnny Borell and Dave Stewart.

A workshop will be going on, where you can hear from them about how to get into the industry. Then you can have a one-to-one when they'll actually listen to your work and advise you on what's next.

They'll be at the Bristol Academy this Saturday (31st May) but there are limited places. So to find out more click here.
