Fashion King dies

French fashion king Yves Saint Laurent has died.

The 71 year old was one of the most iconic designers of the last century.

By the time he was 21, Yves Saint Laurent was head of fashion house Dior.

He became famous for bringing a cultural edge to clothes and was one of the first people to employ black models on the catwalk.

Some people say he is responsible for making paris teh fashion capital of the world.

Depp's double gongs

Even though the fire at the Universal Studios was raging just a few hundred metres away - the party continued as the glitz and glamour of the MTV Movie Awards happened in LA yesterday.

The Transformers film and Johnny Depp were the big winners this year.

Johnny Depp picked up trophies for best comedy performance in Pirates of the Caribbean and best villain in Sweeney Todd.

Parents to attend Batman premiere

Heath Ledger's family are planning to attend the world premiere of his last film, Batman:The Dark Knight.

Heath's mum and dad are set to fly to New York from Australia to watch their son's performance as the Joker.

It's opens there on July the 18th.

Heath was found dead in his New York apartment earlier this year.

George may have to stop dancing!

Doctors have apparently warned Britain's Got Talent Winner George Sampson never to dance again.

George won the final on Saturday, his prize was a cheque for £ 100,000 and the chance to perform for Prince Charles at the Royal Variety show.

But it's claimed George could be crippled for life if he keeps doing what he loves, because he has a rare spine disease - it has already left him partially blind in one eye.

George won the talent show by doing a dance routine to the classic tune 'Singin' In The Rain' and he has a famous fan apparently...there's rumours that Justin Timberlake has asked the 14 year old to join him on one of his tour dates to perform on stage with him!

Huge blaze in Hollywood

There was a massive fire over the weekend at the studios where shows like CSI and Desperate Housewives are filmed.

Burning debris is still being pulled out of Universal Studios in Los Angeles.

Hundreds of old videotapes have been ruined.

The Back to the Future set and a King Kong theme park ride were badly damaged aswell.

Talking tough on teenage drinkers

Don't be offended if you get asked a lot more for ID in bars and at off licences.

The Government are having a big clampdown on underage boozers.

They're getting tough on shopkeepers and landlords - the people that sell the alcohol.

From now on they will be allowed one mistake - after that if they're caught serving alcohol to underage customers - they'll be prosecuted by the police.

The Government also want police to get tough with teenagers caught boozing on the streets.
