Possible hit and run on A1

A woman's body was found on a busy road in Cambridgeshire this morning

A section of the A1 at Wittering just south of Peterborough was closed for several hours while police tried to find out what happened.

Cambridgeshire Police say they think the woman was walking and she may have been hit by a lorry.

They say the driver might not even know what had happened.
