Well according to doctors, lots of us with piercings do have problems afterwards.

One in ten of us now have a piercing somewhere else other than our ears.

More than a quarter of people under 25 have experienced complications such as infections.

Doctors say too many young people try and get a friend to pierce them, which doesn't help, they advise not doing it the DIY way.
