Aswell as petrol prices soaring, it looks like car tax is going to get more expensive soon too.

Nine million of us are going to have to pay more according to the Government.

Basically the old 7 band system is changing to 13 bands - there will be more categories of vehicle.

Owners of the greenest, cleanest cars will have the cheapest car tax, gaz guzzlers, 4x4's and new car owners will have to pay a premium.

The Transport Minister has already admitted that half of us could have to pay up to £245 pounds a year more to keep our car on the road.

Men held over double killing

The man accused of murdering two French students been remanded in custody.

The bodies of Gabriel Ferez and Laurent Bonomo were found stabbed and burnt in a flat in London's New Cross more than a week ago.

And Darnell didn't escape - apparantly, he's an 'idiot' for cheering when Mario and the drummers failed their section of the task. Happy house, happy house (within the set groups, obviously)

Task failed!

Let's be honest, the housemates were never gonna pass this one, were they?
For this week's shopping task, Big Brother had set housemates the task of learning Irish dancing... they performed their routine on Wednesday afternoon, and knew it was a failure almost immediately, but Big Brother made them wait for the official results...

Housemates were permitted a total of three fails. Those were used up during the drummers introduction. Then Big Brother admitted to 'losing count' of the number of further fails.

It means housemates will receive a basic shopping budget next week of just £1 per head...
