Another price rise...

You could soon be getting a bigger water bill.

Essex and Suffolk Water say prices will go up around 1.3% above inflation.

Both companies put the rise down to future investment and say they will continue to be affordable.

'Rip off' application removed

If you're in the middle of a game of Scrabulous at the moment on Facebook - you might have to call it a draw...

The application has been taken off the website.

It's because the companies that own the right to Scrabble the board game - Say scrabulous is a rip off of their idea.

If you work as a waiter or waitress - some good news today.

Your boss won't be able to use the tips you get towards your wages in the future.

It means waiting staff should be guaranteed at least £5.52 an hour from now on

...with any tips as extra!

Man killed when wheel burst

A tyre fitter died yesterday when he was inflating the wheel of a 17 tonne lorry.

It exploded in his face

The man was in his late 20's.

The accident happened in Sudbury in Suffolk

Huge profits for 'price rise' companies

The company that owns British Gas, Centrica are getting a fair bit of stick today...

They've just put up their prices by the biggest amount ever...and yet this morning they announced that they've just made a billion pounds profit!

And If you're annoyed at how much petrol is costing you - you won't want to hear that Shell have made nearly 8 billion pounds profit in just the last six months.

Shield kids from violence

Children need to be protected from violent computer games and what the government say is the 'dark side' of the internet.

A group of MPs want webistes like YouTube to get tough on people who post unsuitable videos.

Things like gang rapes, fighting and bullying have all appeared on the website.

Nearly a fifth of 8-15 -year-olds say they've seen "frightening" stuff online.

The Government also want computer games to be reclassified to be more like what movies are so that youngsters aren't exposed to so much violence when they're playing.

Task failed!

Housemates gathered round to hear the results of this week's shopping task on Wednesday evening - not that it made a great deal of difference, because only Dale's secret task actually counted towards getting a luxury budget...

Firstly, the cops (Mo, Rex, Stu & Mikey) were called to the diary room and had to give the two names of the robbers they think stole the token on Tuesday night. They correctly guessed Dale & Maysoon, unintentionally losing the entire house their budget for the week!

The other tasks this week were all failed - apart from the cops stakeout task - and when Big Brother revealed that it all depended on Dale & Maysoon getting away with their 'robbery', housemates looked less than impressed...
