Cruelty cases rise

They say we're a nation of animal lovers but new stats out today show that the number of prosecutions following attacks on animals is sadly on the up.

The RSCPA says dogs are most at risk with convictions against owners up by a third.

54 people were so cruel to animals last year that they went to prison for it.
