Bale given bail

Christian Bale says he didn't hit out at two members of his family.

The star of the new Batman film - The Dark Knight has denied allegations that he assaulted his mum and sister.

He was arrested by the police yesterday over allegations that he lashed out at them at a hotel on Saturday.

He was given bail until September.

Today Christian and the rest of the cast are in Barcelona to promote the new movie.
