Jail for 'mobile motorists'

New laws are kicking into today to try and stop drivers across UK from using their mobiles behind the wheel.

If you cause a death on the road because you were sending or reading text messages at the time you could get up to seven years in jail.

The new rules are designed to make us all concentrate more on the road.

A shoe company has designed the perfect footwear for the British summer...

Their shoe transforms into a sandal with just one zip.

The Nat-2 design looks like a regular trainer but when you unzip the sole it turns into a sandal.

You then just slip the canvas top into your pocket or bag.

Remember not to wear socks with sandals though!!

Bubbly bar's comeback

The Wispa is making a chocolate comeback.

Fans have been campaigning for the bubbly bar's return since Cadbury stopped making it in 2003.

The chocolate maker had a seven week trial run last year to see if demand was still there and after selling a whopping 20 million they decided to put the sweet snack back into production.

Kiss 105-8 listeners may have a new celebrity neighbour soon...

Amy Winehouse has apparently started searching for a new flat in Bury St Edmunds.

The troubled singer told her management that she wants to move to the Suffolk town because her jailed husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is being transferred to a nearby prison.

Jail staff agreed to arrange the transfer after Fielder-Civil claimed that he is feeling suicidal.

He’s apparently receiving Samaritan counselling for his troubles.

Blake recently promised to start a new life in the country with Amy when he’s released from prison.

Go on holiday Geldof!

Peaches Geldof's neighbours want her to go on holiday to give them a break from the hoards of press outside her London flat.

A local labour councillor has written in the Islington Tribune newspaper saying he's going to drop her a note suggesting a holiday.

And if she takes his advice, when she gets back he suggests she get herself a full-time job.

'Hello' publish baby snaps

The wait is finally over for the celebrity-obsessed amongst you...

The latest additions to the Pitt-Jolie clan can finally be seen.

Brad and Angie's twins, Vivienne and Knox feature in a 17 page spread in Hello from today!

The mag, which reportedly forked out over £17 million for the snaps is refusing to comment.

Honeymoon grooms dies

A man who was shot on his honeymoon in Antigua has died.

Ben Mullany was flown home to Swansea in a coma last week - his wife Catherine was killed immediately when a gang of men attacked them in their holiday cottage.

Ben was a physiotherapist, his wife Catherine was training to be a doctor, ironically at the hospital where Ben was being treated over the past few days.

The couple only got married three weeks ago - it's thought they will now be buried in the church where they tied the knot.

Letters from home

Housemates were given letters from home on Sunday - well, the housemates in heaven were anyway...

Head of House Rachel was given a difficult decision to make - she could sacrifce her own letter (from her mum) in order for the housemates living in hell (Kat, Mikey & Nicole) to get their letters... which of course she did - this is Rachel we're talking about!
